Feature Overview

This page gives you a guided overview of the core modules in ConsoleX AI so you can build confidence step by step.

1. Chat with any AI model

You can talk to any enabled model directly inside the workspace. When a result is not good enough, you can regenerate with another model and compare outputs side by side.

You can work with shared models out of the box, or connect your own endpoints through BYOK.

2. Use Tools and MCP servers

Tools let models interact with real environments and external information. ConsoleX includes many preset tools and MCP servers, and you can also add custom ones for your own workflow.

When you start a conversation, you can attach tools from the add menu—or use shortcuts in the input box—to help the model complete tasks.

3. Use Skills

Skills are reusable operating recipes. They usually combine a tuned prompt, scripts, tools, and usage constraints so the model can complete a task more effectively or even run a multi-step workflow.

ConsoleX includes many preset Skills, and you can also create your own or use popular Skills shared by the community. There are two usage modes:

  • Global mode: enabled Skills are injected automatically into new conversations and used progressively when relevant.
  • Current conversation mode: start with a clean setup and manually attach only the Skills you want for the current task.

4. Manage files through Assets

Files you upload in conversations—and media generated by models—are automatically stored in your Asset Library, including images, audio, video, PDFs, and Skill packages.

From the Asset Library, you can preview files, generate new images, video, or audio, and drag existing files directly into the input box for use in conversations.

5. Manage prompts

ConsoleX includes a prompt library with many preset system prompt templates for common builder and creator workflows.

You can also create your own prompts, save them, and edit them inside conversations whenever you need more control over the behavior of the model.

6. Build your own Agents

Agents are reusable AI teammates configured for a role.

You can package a system prompt, the most suitable model, and the right tools and Skills into an Agent. When you start a new conversation, just type @ to open the Agent picker, choose the one you need, and put it to work immediately.
