Review a result yourself
Human review records your judgment of the delivered work. Read the result and the check evidence, then decide whether it meets the requirements. Your conclusion is kept separately from the automatic check.
When to review
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Checks need your judgment | Click Start human review to decide from the result and evidence |
| The check could not finish | Review the result yourself, or retry the check |
| Checks passed or failed, but you disagree | Use Review anyway beside the conclusion |
| A suggestion to spot-check a passed result | Use Spot-check this one to see whether the standard is judging as you expect |
A definite automatic conclusion does not require your sign-off. Review when you have something to confirm or correct.
Record your conclusion
- Open a run from the task's Run history and read the delivered result.
- Open human review from the result's review prompt or the Check result conclusion.
- The review dialog shows the delivered work and any checks that failed or could not decide. Choose Pass or Fail based on the work itself.
- Add notes if useful. Notes are optional for either conclusion. When the checks passed something you fail, explain what they missed so the requirement can be made clearer later.
- Click Save review conclusion.
Selecting Pass or Fail alone does not save the review. Closing the dialog without saving leaves the recorded conclusion unchanged and keeps your draft while you continue on the page.
Change or withdraw a review
Use Edit review conclusion to change your saved conclusion or notes. Use Withdraw review and confirm if you want the result to go back to the automatic conclusion.
If you check the same unchanged delivery again, an existing review may be carried forward; the page tells you when this happens. Read the delivery again before applying an old judgment to changed work.
What your review changes
The result shows how the automatic check and your review compare. Your completed review takes priority in the displayed conclusion and result summaries, including pass-rate statistics. The automatic verdict and its evidence remain available.
Saving a review does not change the task's method or acceptance criteria. Those are separate changes for future work.
If you think a check got it wrong
Record your conclusion through human review, then choose a next step based on what went wrong:
| Situation | Useful next step |
|---|---|
| The checks passed, but you found a missing requirement | Explain the missing requirement in your review. When offered, Draft a check from your reason opens a draft for you to review and save |
| The checks failed, but the work meets your requirements | Review the criterion and its evidence. Use Open acceptance criteria if the requirement needs correcting |
| The checks could not decide, but you can | Save your conclusion. Make the criterion or its evidence requirements clearer if that would help future checks |
| The delivered work needs a better method | Request a prompt improvement where available, then review the proposal before applying it |
The suggested actions depend on the result. Drafting a new check does not save it automatically; drafting a task improvement does not apply it automatically. Improving the task may use Credits. For a method kept in a local Skill, change the original Skill in its external agent.
