Tool Usage Overview

Agentic tool use is one of the core features of ConsoleX AI, making ConsoleX unique and powerful. The Tool Vault contains 300+ preset tools and MCP servers hosted in the tool library, acting like an arsenal for LLMs that can greatly expand the capabilities of large language models. It also supports adding custom tools, MCP servers, and running third-party workflows to complete Agentic tasks.

Adding Candidate Tools in Conversations

Adding candidate tools in conversations is very simple! Just click the tool icon below the input box, browse or search to find one or more tools/MCP that might be needed, and click their corresponding "+" icons to attach the tools/MCP as candidate tools to the conversation.

If force mode is enabled, the large model will be required to call one or more of the manually added candidate tools when generating responses.

When candidate tools are added and a conversation is initiated, the model will automatically plan tasks and select appropriate tools to complete them.

Using Preset Tools/MCP

The tool library contains over 200 preset tools and more than 20 hosted MCP servers, all of which can be used directly or with simple configuration - no local installation or complex setup required! View Details

Autonomous Mode

When initiating conversations, if autonomous mode is enabled, the large model will not only use manually added candidate tools but also autonomously select potentially useful tools from the tool vault to help you achieve task goals. View Details
