About File Box

ConsoleX AI provides a file box feature for saving and using files related to model conversations. Click the File box entry at the bottom left of the main interface to open it, where you can browse, add delete files.

Supported File Types

ConsoleX AI supports various common file formats:

  • Image files (such as jpg, png, gif, webp, svg and other image formats)
  • Audio files (such as MP3, WAV, AAC and other audio formats)
  • Text documents (including plain text, PDF, Word documents, etc.)
  • Spreadsheets (Excel and other table files)
  • Presentations (PowerPoint and other presentation files)
  • Programming language source code (supports mainstream programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Web and markup files (HTML, CSS, XML, Markdown, etc.)
  • Configuration files (JSON, YAML, etc.)

These file types cover the most commonly used formats in daily work, making it convenient for users to upload and analyze files when conversing with AI.

File Sources in File Box

The file box contains the following two types of files:

  1. User-uploaded images/files Images/files uploaded by users in conversations will be automatically saved to the "Uploaded" category in the file box.

  2. Model or tool-generated images/files Images/files generated by large language models or tools will be automatically saved to the "Generated" category in the file box.

Using Files from File Box in Conversations

When starting a conversation, click the add file icon, then click "Select from File Box" to choose existing files from the file box. Click to apply them to the current conversation message with one click, without needing to re-upload.

  1. What is the file size limit for uploads?

    • Free users have a single file size limit of 2MB
    • Paid users have a single file size limit of 50MB
  2. How many files can I upload in one conversation?

    • Multiple files can be uploaded in one conversation, but it's recommended to control the quantity based on actual needs
  3. What is the file box capacity? How long are files stored on the server?

    • We currently have no set maximum capacity for the file box or file retention time, but limits may be set in the future. We recommend regularly cleaning and deleting unnecessary files.
